In the early 1990's, we were driving up to our home in Anderson with Bev's mother Edna, and decided to get off at Commerce and go to Bev's grandmother's grave. She had been divorced and thus, Bev's grandfather was not buried there so we asked Edna where her father was buried and she could not remember. We drove around and purely by chance, we found his grave.
That was the start. We got the program Family Tree Maker and input our family and our parents names and what dates we knew, and from that point on, genealogy became an obsession.
Bev's file as of Oct. 2010 contains 42,846 individuals and she has input every one! She has searched for 20 years through microfilms for obituaries and court records and has amassed an incredible resource.
We published the Caudell line in 2010 and will continue.
